Operation Backpack
AN ANNUAL BACKPACK AND SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
WITH THE GOAL OF HELPING EVERY STUDENT START THE SCHOOL YEAR READY TO LEARN.
The Pettengill House collects brand new backpacks and school supplies from
mid-June through mid-August for students in pre-k through 12th grade who attend school in the Amesbury, Newburyport, Triton, and Pentucket school
districts. The Pettengill House distributes
these backpacks and school supplies to families in need during the third week in August.
If you need assistance
through this program, please contact The Pettengill House to schedule an appointment. Appointments
are made beginning late July for August pick-up. Social workers can help new clients with these supplies throughout the school year.

In addition to these items, gift
cards and monetary donations are always accepted and appreciated. Please visit our donate page to donate online, or checks can be made payable to The Pettengill

on the memo line. All donations are tax
deductible and directly benefit the children of our community.
The Pettengill House, Inc.
