In June 2020, all Pettengill House staff completed a 6-hour online Anti-Racism Training offered by The Diversity and Resiliency Institute of El Paso.

As a community organization whose mission is built on supporting and empowering individuals, children, and families, we strongly believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity, without judgment or prejudice. It is a vital responsibility for each of us as actively engaged community members to educate ourselves, help raise awareness about human rights and racial issues, and constantly ask ourselves how we can take part in positive change here at home.
