The Behavioral Event and Substance Support Team (BESST) is an initiative created by Pettengill House in collaboration with lead partners Beth Israel Lahey Health at Anna Jaques Hospital, Link House Inc., and Essex County Outreach to unite a broad network of local providers dedicated to breaking down barriers and providing substance misuse/behavioral health support for individuals and families of all ages. The BESST partnership continues to grow, and meets monthly to share resources and expertise, identify community needs, and address systemic barriers.

  • Access to care and benefits
  • Case management and care coordination
  • Outreach and check-ins
  • Family support
  • Additional wraparound supports
