The Senior Wellness Outreach Program is made possible by generous support from The Cummings Foundation.

The Senior Wellness Outreach Program (SWOP) is a Pettengill House program for seniors aged 60+ who are residents of Newburyport or Salisbury, Massachusetts.  Through The Pettengill House, Inc.’s established Therapeutic System of Care social work model, SWOP social workers provide comprehensive case management services tailored to fit the individual needs of eligible seniors.

Program Goals:

• Improve overall wellness and quality of life
• Decrease feelings of despair and/or isolation
• Increase access to appropriate resources and support services

SWOP was initially established in 2018 through a "$100k for 100" grant from the Cummings Foundation.  In 2022, Cummings Foundation awarded Pettengill House with a second $100k grant to continue and expand upon the program.
